Guilty Gear Xtra is a seinen manga of the Guilty Gear series that was published from December 2002 to September 2003 in Monthly Magazine-Z. The chapters were collected into a single volume, released in September 22, 2003.
Taking place between the original Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear X, the story revolves around two new characters Tyr and Mizuha, and the mystery of severed Gear parts falling from the sky. Characters from the games also appear, albeit with relatively minor roles.
