The Head[]

Sitting at her desk, Marianne unlocks the door from her computer for Norm, who delivers a tray of food for the Vault 32 raiders. As Marianne opens the door hatch to the raider's room, she passes the trays of food to them all while trying to be polite to them all.

When a conference is held led by the Vault 33 governing council members Woody, Reg, and Betty. The topic of the discussion is what to do with the Vault 32 raiders and when it's decided to integrate them into their society. When Davey suggests teaching the Vault 32 raiders Shakespeare and when they're ready, Marlowe. However, Marianne cuts in, stating that Shakespeare is too advanced for them, and suggests starting with a more moral framework with Kant, Mill, etc.

After a couple more suggestions are tossed out, Norm scoffs and Reg asks him if he has a suggestion, which he notes that it's not their obligation to help them. On the other hand, one Vault 33 dweller claims that they didn't know any better, while Marriane concurs, stating they don't have a formal education. Still, Norm suggests killing them all in retribution for what they did to them all, which earns him a disapproving reaction from the Vault 33 dwellers and council, causing Betty to mediate the situation as best as she can.

Just then, the Vault 33 engineer arrives and wants to say something to the council in private, but Reg insists he formally announces it to everyone. As it turns out, he notes that the water chip was destroyed, and they likely have less than two months' worth of water.

Once that was revealed, Marianne and the other Vault 33 dwellers headed off.

The Past[]

Vault 33 election

On the day to vote for a new Vault 33 overseer, Marianne is seen passing out election ballots to the Vault 33 dwellers.

Afterward, once all of the votes are tallied, Marianne gives a formal announcement stating that 98% of the people had elected Betty as their new overseer. Marianne stands by as Betty gives a speech where she thanks everyone there and slices up the jelly cake for them all.

The next day, Marianne partakes in viewing Vault 32, and learns from Betty that many of the residents of Vault 33 will be transferred over to Vault 32.
