Reigai vs. Original, The Fierce Fighting for Gambled Pride! is the three hundred and fortieth episode of the Bleach anime.

As the merged Inaba/Nozomi Kujō is confronted, the captains and lieutenants battle the Reigai.

Summary[]

Yushima's Zanpakutō stabs the Hollow and within his own consciousness, he can see Nozomi inside Yushima's as well. Nozomi calls out to Ichigo Kurosaki, but before he can do anything to help her, Yushima regains his will and attacks him, causing Ichigo's Hollow-self to break apart. Now powerless once again, Ichigo falls to the ground, while Rukia slashes at Yushima, forcing him to back away. Rukia calls for Orihime to take Ichigo somewhere safe, but he refuses to go. Yushima calls Reigai-Nemu Kurotsuchi to bring him fusion stabilizer to make the fusion permanent and when she arrives, she unexpectedly kicks him backward. It is revealed that Kon was helped by Kisuke Urahara and Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi by placing his Soul Candy into that of the Reigai. Kon gives Ichigo a complete Gikongan which he takes, and it restores his Shinigami powers. He prepares to unleash his Bankai against Yushima. Meanwhile, Captain Byakuya Kuchiki has deduced that the Reigai do not sacrifice themselves to attack the originals when they are all together, as it goes against what they and Yushima believe in. The originals join forces against the Reigai to protect Soul Society.

Kon brags to Rukia Kuchiki and Orihime Inoue that he wasn't scared at all on what he's been through. The scene then shifts through to Kon being in the fusion lab, where Mayuri and Urahara ponder over the lifeless body of the Reigai Nemu. Urahara then suggests something to Mayuri who says that they'll have to eviscerate him if they need to, which makes Kon begin to freak out. Urahara then says that when they're done they could use him for experiments and the both of them start to snigger. Kon then thinks that he can't believe Urahara is in this too, but then is called by Urahara, asking whether he could help them out as he and Mayuri stares closely on Kon, which causes him to scream in terror.
