The Kusajishi Bull's Gang is a gang residing in Kusajishi led by Daiji Hirasago.[1]
Plot[]
Bount arc (anime only)[]
Note: Events occurring in this arc are only in the anime and do not constitute canon material.
The gang approaches Ganju Shiba's group in the forest.
While searching for the Bount in Soul Society with his gang, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryū Ishida, Ganju Shiba encounters three thugs for Kusajishi, and after incapacitating them with Bonnie, he learns that the Bount seem to be operating in Kusajishi, which leads him to decide that they will need assistance from someone familiar with the region.[2] Shortly afterward, Ganju leads the group to a different part of the forest and gives a signal with a loud whistle, causing Daiji and his subordinates to emerge from the bushes surrounding them and approach the group, who are left visibly startled while Ganju casually greets a smiling Daiji.[3]
Daiji returns with information for Ganju and the others.
The next day, Daiji returns from collecting a reconnaissance report to inform Ganju and his friends of the Bount gathering a huge number of thugs from around Kusajishi with which to attack the Seireitei. Upon learning that Ganju plans to interfere with this by breaking up the crowd of thugs and making it easier for the Shinigami to fight them, Daiji is initially hesitant to help him, but changes his mind when Ganju explains that he is doing this to assist Ichigo Kurosaki in his hardworking efforts to stop the Bount and has his subordinates round up fighters of their own before attacking the thugs' base that night and routing the ones left behind by the Bount.[1]

Daiji Hirasago[]
Daiji Hirasago is the leader of the gang and is known as "The Bull of Kusajishi".[1]
Appearance[]
Daiji is a young man of average height and a slender yet muscular build. He has spiky reddish-brown hair and several scars on his body, including one running over his left eyebrow, another on his left cheek, and a large one across his chest. He wears a baggy, sleeveless jumpsuit fastened at the waist with a yellow sash and black armbands covering his forearms, as well as gray wrappings around his calves and sandals.[1]
Personality[]
Daiji is a straightforward, friendly, and even-tempered, but slightly arrogant young man. Though he normally has no interest in helping the Shinigami of the Seireitei and does not consider Ganju Shiba to be a friend, with the latter's cozying up to him only serving to annoy Daiji, he agrees to aid him when Ganju admits that he is trying to help a close friend despite Daiji making fun of how openly he admitted to this. He also chooses to go by the moniker "The Bull of Kusajishi" simply because it sounds cool.[1]

Staff: Daiji wields a pale blue staff that is as long as he is tall with slightly thicker sections on either end.[1]
Lady[]
Lady (レディー, Redeī) is one of Daiji's subordinates.[1]
Appearance[]
A woman of youthful appearance, Lady has long brown hair that she keeps tied in a ponytail on the left side of her head with a red tie and thin eyebrows. She wears a baggy blue jumpsuit fastened at the waist with a yellow sash and keeps a bladed weapon holstered on either hip.[1]
Personality[]
Lady is very loyal to Daiji, willing to wait patiently for hours alongside her comrades while waiting for orders, which she will obey without question.[1]
Max[]
Max (マックス, Makkusu) is one of Daiji's subordinates.[1]
Appearance[]
A youthful man, Max has spiky black hair and a slender build. He wears a baggy blue jumpsuit fastened at the waist with a yellow sash and keeps weapons holstered through this.[1]
Personality[]
Max is very loyal to Daiji, willing to wait patiently for hours alongside his comrades while waiting for orders, which he will obey without question.[1]
Komae[]
Komae (コマエ, Komae) is one of Daiji's subordinates.[1]

Komae is a young, slender man with black hair that he keeps bound underneath a white bandanna. He wears a baggy blue jumpsuit fastened at the waist with a yellow sash and keeps weapons holstered through this.[1]
