Genji Isawa (石和厳兒, Isawa Genji) is the Headmaster of Shin'ō Academy and former Third seat of the 5th Division.^[1]

Appearance[]

Genji is a large muscular man with short black hair and a stubbly beard. He wears a white haori with a black shihakusho underneath.^[1]

History[]

Genji graduated in the same year as Kira Izuru. Sometime later, Genji was promoted to the Third Seat of the Fifth Division. During the Quincy Blood War, he lost his legs which forced him to retire as a Shinigami. Later, under the recommandation of his former Captain Shinji Hirako, Genji was appointed the Headmaster of the Shin'ō Academy.^[1]
