Sorry guys, but if you had read properly, you should realise that there is no solution for me and the majority of gamers, because this is not possible on Playstation and Xbox and most of them still play on the console like I do. I'm upset about this because I once had an almost identical bug in another game and it was fixed within a week.

I'm having the same issue.
First season in Driver Career, Silverstone. The game keeps crashing after a Mid-Session-Save during the race after couple of seconds of loading screen.

I've moved some more posts into this thread.
It seems like the team has found a fix for this issue and should be deployed in an upcoming patch. I will keep you updated, once we know more or got patch notes ready.
In the meanwhile, you might try the workarounds shared in this thread that if you are on PC, you can delete the mid session save file, which will let you lose some race time but should then let you continue with your career!

@EA_Vendcera Thanks for the update, any idea on when the patch is expected ? I only play career mode and now can't really play the game at all.
I noticed the issue appeared after I completed the 'Open DRS for more than 55s in a race', I dont know what specialist it was from...
Any temporary fix for Playstation in the meantime ?

I'm using the PS5 and my hands had crashed on mid game save. I've lost all my season that I've played.
On starting a new season the car is now gone from handling great to all over the place. Using my previous set up. And I can't manually use DRS, even with selection another button on my wheel.

I just wanted to update and let you all know that this issue should now be resolved with the upcoming 1.6 patch on Monday.
It had indeed something to do with the Specialist Goals interfering, and that has been addressed.
