Battlefront II won't launch from Steam or EA App

Trying to launch Battlefront 2 in either steam or EA app gets to splash screen, game starts to load then stops and crashes.

Played the game 5 days ago, uninstalled an re-installed both the game and EA App, ran as admin, verified game file integrity in Steam, and turned off all anti-virus.

Don't know why the game won't load. Please help advise.l
