The Wise One is the village elder of Papuchia Village in Spirit Tracks.[2]

Biography[]

Though she is known as a great seer and is renowned for her wisdom to the point of being given the title of "Wise One", her true name is not revealed. She is for all intents and purposes a Fortune Teller whose counsel is often sought by the villagers who seek advice for their everyday lives. As such, Link is pointed in her direction when he comes to the village in search of Carben, the guardian Lokomo sage of the Ocean Realm. In order to answer her questions and thus get an answer out of her, one must blow into the microphone feature on the Nintendo DS, causing her to respond often that she had already foreseen the answers she has been given.

Though she may seem eccentric, her advice seemingly works for those who come to her, as she is able to point Link in the right direction when searching for Carben and all of the villagers seem to trust her word without question. However, the menfolk of the village defied her advice and got kidnapped by a gang of pirates.[3]
