Our BA programmes provide a broad range of options to study the ancient Greek, Roman and Middle Eastern worlds, and allow you to develop your skills in analysis, organisation, and writing.
The department is a leading international centre for graduate study and research in the ancient world. We have a thriving graduate community, with 30-40 students at any time.

UCL clubs and societies
The UCL Classics Society is a student society run by annually elected students. It is a small department-affiliated society. They arrange social and academic events throughout the year including talks, museum trips and nights out, as well as a Christmas dinner and an end of year ball.
