Would really help me if I get some logs, a save file and the list with mods installed. Installed the game, used only F4SE, MCM and this mod and the game didn't crash, but the mod failed to retrieve the names for actor values, so an issue is there.
1. Clear the logs in Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE folder. 2. Go to mod's Logging Level configuration page (the next to last one) and enable verbose logging. 3. Reload the save file, so the new setting is used. You should see ACTIVE EFFECTS LOGGING in the top left corner on HUD. 4. Open Pip-Boy and go to the new actors tab. This is where the game should crash.
Create an archive with:
1. Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE folder (for the logs) 2. c:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\Fallout4 (for the list with installed mods) 3. The save file (maybe I can reproduce the problem)
And upload it somewhere and send me a PM with the link. This seems the kind of issue that I can fix only if I can reproduce it...

Visibility toggles don't seem to matter (gun drawn, in combat, etc) for me - do the hotkeys always take precedence? For example, if I set all other conditions to hidden, and "When gun drawn" to visible, I get nothing when I draw my weapon, unless I use the hotkey. The info is there in my pip-boy and onscreen on-demand, but I can't seem to get anything to work for conditions beyond the two hotkeys.
First verify if the mod is notified by MCM when settings are changed. For example from Container page change Container Anchor from Top Right to Top Left or something like this and see if the change is visible on HUD (have an active effect first, otherwise nothing is displayed). If not then the mod simply doesn't know that the settings were changed and you must reload the game to use the new values (no restart required, save and load is enough). You can also fix this:
1. Quit the game. 2. Uninstall / disable the mod. 3. Load the save file. The game should complain that the mod is missing. Ignore this. 4. Save the game. This save file is somehow "clean", without the mod. 5. Quit the game and enable/install back the mod. The settings were not lost if the mod was uninstalled previously. 6. Load the game. The mod will think that was just installed and will ask again MCM for updates when the settings are changed.
So weird...that did the trick, thank you. What threw me off was that the toggle would work immediately if I *disabled* visibility all the time - the widgets would hide like they should. And the visibility toggles were the only settings not taking - everything else was fine. Font sizes, scale and position, clock, inventory counters, etc... all reflected their changes immediately when toggled in MCM. I've even run into hud issues in the past with other mods where I had to reload a save to get changes to work, but that didn't fix it here. Not a deal breaker as the rest of the mod was functioning as advertised, but I was flummoxed, so I appreciate the timely response. Disabling the mod and creating a "fresh" save worked fine; widgets now show and hide like they should when I raise/lower my weapon.
So, do I have to uninstall/re-install this mod every time I change an MCM value? Nothing I do shows up in game unless I Uninstall the mod.... (fallowing the instructions in the replies). I can't get anything to work. Without real time changes with the MCM I have know way to see what my value changes are doing.....ANY FIX??

I can adjust the settings in MCM but nothing shows up, also noticed no other hud mod actually shows up except for FallUI.
Cant bind hotkezs either, hoping someone can help fix the situation.
