Report Poll

Should we release our next update without the Father vs. Son extended endings? They're taking more time than expected to make.

A: The instant we know, we will tell you.

Q: I have a suggestion for the mod!
A: The best place for your suggestions would be on our discord server. If you leave a suggestion, please ensure that you provide a link for any characters or maps, else we will not take your request under consideration. If suggesting other improvements for the mod, please be prepared to explain why your idea is good.

Q: I'm having a problem with another mod, can you help?
A: Our ability to help you with other Jedi Academy mods is dependant on the mod itself. We likely can assist with most mods, but major technical issues would be best to ask the original mod authors.

A: We're actively working on the mod.

Q: How do I play Jedi Outcast with the mod?

Q: Can I customize NPCs?
A: Yes, you can choose their health, alignment, appearance, weapons, lightsaber/s and behaviors

i cant figure out if my game is bugged or not. When fighting dooku as maul after defeating qui-gon and obi, my lightsabers are destroyed and i can only use fists? how am I supposed to beat him when he has a weapon and spams grip every 5 seconds? is there some sneaky mgs way of beating him or something?

It's definitely not bugged, it's a scripted event which can't be avoided. If you know how to perform a kata with a lightsaber, it's the same button combination to grapple and beat the crap out of your opponent, which is the best way to win.

Unfortunately I can't help with that at the moment, it really only occurs during long play sessions.

I understand. well in my case, whenever I die and reload or load a new mission, it just freezes and the program stops responding. I only have SWGL and an xinput gamepad mod installed. also just tried running as admin but no improvement. its just a shame I cant figure out a fix because I'm having to restart the game VERY frequently, oh well.

edit: oh crap, if I use openJK version would that work better in general? I've only modded vanilla steam version

You have to use our executable file to launch the mod, have you been doing that?

yeah I used the SWGL_SPx86 exe. I also tried the openJK exe and it seems to load the mod in settings but the menu options are invisible -.-

Yeah we made a ton of code changes so you need to use our executable file.

yeah that was my mistake. I reinstalled the game and the mod and I'm using the launcher now, seems to be more consistent with less freezing. The added controller support is very much appreciated! think the only feature missing is switching the saber on/off but oh well. again its a great mod keep up the good work :)

To turn your saber on or off just press your lightsaber hotkey (default key is 1)
