Version 1.12

The new update is now available for download. It is by far the biggest one yet and includes a completely new weapon arsenal, new dynamic weather, a new A-life managment system, graphical improvements such as Screen Space Shaders, numerous fixes, balance improvements and much more.

New Features (shortened):

  • Completely replaced the weapon arsenal with BaS + selected weapons from Gunslinger and others.
  • Added gunshot sound layering (different sounds for different distance ranges, JSRS style).
  • Replaced the weather with CGIM 2 with dynamic weather managment.
  • Added new a-life and respawn managment system from DSH.
  • Added visible 1st person body.
  • Added shader-based 2D scopes.
  • Added Screen Space Shaders.
  • Added support for laser sights and alternate aim positions.
  • Difficulty is now split into gameplay and economy difficulty (as in Anomaly). Both affect various factors of gameplay.
  • Added various new gameplay options to the menu.
  • Add the "Mysterious sniper" quest from RMA.
  • Added special exoskeleton use animations from Gunslinger.
  • And more... full detailed changelog + updated credits.

Brilliant mod! This has been my favorite playthrough of SoC to date. Question though, what is the meaning of the red moon? It just appeared in my game and it makes me feel like something special should happen? I've never seen this in a Stalker game before.

There is a problem with some guns when you play on any resolution lower than 1280x760 ak will be misplaced in your screen and you will have problems aiming down sights, same thing with a shotgun that you can find later on

New comer to the mod. Quick question. Does it break the story line if ones like Nimble & Yurik die or do you just don't get any reward?

Nimble can die, you just need his flash drive ("Find him, dead or alive"). Yurik can die, it won't break anything (you can try to save him by tossing a grenade behind the BMP, the bandits will run away and will be easier to manage).

Hello all stalkers... I wanted to know if you can help me or if it's just me with the problem... about the character flashlight that doesn't work when you press the key, it does the animation of turning it on but you can't see the glow effect and I can't distinguish in dark places... any solution? thank you..,

Either your battery is drained or you are long pressing the button which just toggles the mode.

Hello author... I bought a new flashlight and it does the same thing and I changed the batteries and it's still the same... but the NPCs do turn on their flashlights... any solution? graphics have already changed and nothing remains the same with that glyth

Hey, is it just me or are 2nd and 3rd gen nightvision (SSP-99M and Exo Suit MK3) worse then 1st gen? There is NO difference expect white/green shader when I use 2nd/3rd Gen.

Thank you for replying, but those screenshots sadly don't tell me much. What I mean is: Other than the 1st gen NV, they don't help seeing in dark places. The lighting is exactly(!) the same with no NV and 2nd/3rd gen NV. There is just no reason to ever use it. 1st gen actually makes very dark places slightly visible (tested in Agroprom Underground and Lab X-16, with and without reshade active).
