In this big project I will be uploading a majority of the Battlefront 2 (2005) Mods & Maps to ModDB for re-archiving purposes. Uploading the files will be sporadic so do not expect consistent file uploads. I am doing this on my own free time. I will be uploading all different types of Battlefront 2 files to include Singleplayer Maps, Multiplayer Maps, Side Mods, Era Mods, Total Conversion Mods, Map Packs and a few other types of mods which I hope peak your interest.
This is the most comprehensive Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) Mods/Maps Re-Archiving Project the game has ever seen. I hope my "Mike's Battlefront 2 Mods & Maps Collection" Re-Archiving Project becomes the main destination for all those Battlefront 2 (2005) players to come and download, observe, inspect and review the mods/maps that individuals are looking for as this project has a fair amount of Mods/Maps which are only available on this page.
If you have a request for a mod/map you want me to re-upload/re-archive in this project, send me a PM on ModDB or leave a comment on this page. I will try my best to get back to you in an expeditious (fast) manner as I try to upload about 5 Mods/Maps a day. If that fails then just search up my YouTube channel "MikeTheBeastsVideos" and leave a comment on one of my videos as I spend a lot of free time watching videos. Also, if you find there are mods/maps missing from this Re-Archiving Project that are NOT on ModDB which you would like to see added in case anything happens to the original author who uploaded the map, once again you can contact me at any of the above referenced places I mentioned herein.
It is my goal to re-archive close to every Battlefront 2 Mod/Map ever released for this game and as of June 12, 2024 I am not done yet. I am currently focusing on re-uploading Mods/Maps from Gamewatcher and my 16 Collection Files. Once that is complete, I will start archiving other older mods released by others on ModDB in case those individuals decide to delete their user accounts or delete all their file uploads.
IMPORTANT FOR MODDERS WHOSE MAPS I HAVE UPLOADED OR MIGHT UPLOAD IN THE FUTURE: For any modders who are keeping track of this project, if you do NOT want me uploading your mods/maps, please send me a PM and let me know. My only intention with this project is to re-archive and save as many mods/maps for Battlefront 2 (2005) as possible. If I have uploaded one of your mods/maps, I will ALWAYS give you the proper credit if I find your name in a "Readme" for the file or if it is part of the Updated Star Wars Battlefront 2 Map Archive. If I upload a map which has no "Readme" or the author is unknown in the map archive but you know you made the map, contact me and let me know so I can give you proper credit which you deserve.
IMPORTANT: THE "MIKES BATTLEFRONT 2 MOD COLLECTION #1-16" FILES ARE NOT 2-2.3GB UNCOMPRESSED, THESE ARE COMPRESSED FILES! WHEN YOU UNCOMPRESS THESE FILES THEY WILL RANGE FROM 8GB-10GB SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SPACE ON YOUR HARD DRIVE!

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Counter Strike 1.6... Literally I cannot look up the word mod without those two games coming up or Counter Strike Source. Battlefront on the other hand does not come up.

Yes, in particular i would like to edit some mods that are here to match my personal taste, an example would be editing a mod that has a pretty nice map but has vanilla units and so changing units with something else.

There was an old map I played that involved being on multiple ship-like platforms in the water. I remember the AI getting stuck a lot and drowning. Was wondering if anyone remembered the name of it.
Could you be a bit more specific? If you remember maybe even partly naming the map or describing it more? I might know it as I played a lot of different Battlefront 2 Mods/Maps over my decade in the Gametoast Community.
All I remember it was a map filled with water with platforms that the AI struggled to comprehend (they would either get stuck or drown). It is really old.
