Historically accurate equipment displays the benefits and failings of their real counterparts. Features such as multi-role APCs and improved infantry classes promote team play by making it easier and more beneficial for players to work together. A comprehensively revised damage system allows for a much greater depth of feel without being draconian, one-hit kills are the exception not the rule.
We have gone to great lengths to produce game play that is both balanced and enjoyable. Attention to detail has also become a key aspect of the mod with high quality textures, sounds and models all carefully researched and developed. The result is a mod with approximately 150 tanks, trucks and cars; more than 80 aircraft, over 80 small-arms and over 190 unique maps. These are increasing with each release and represent 13 nations: Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy (+ post armistice Italy (1943-45), Japan, The Netherlands, Russia, France (1940), Vichy France and Free French (1940-45), The United Kingdom and The United States.

Is there some kind of vehicle lock?
I tried to change the mustang on Bocage map to the one with rockets, it ctd'd twice then revert my changes to default settings.
I use winrfa on RC3
I can change vehicle settings on objects.rfa but seem unable to change objectspawntemplates on the map.rfa itself.
All you need to do is alter "ObjectSpawnTemplates.con" inside either Conquest or Coop (if you want to play that map with AI/bots) sub-folder inside the "mapname".rfa, but i'd recommend to extract that file and create a patch by adding "mapname"_001.rfa for example to preserve the original map file.
like i said, changed a flak 38 to a flak 36aa/at, the game crashed twice and reverted to flak 38
The proper names of those static weapons in BG42 was "2cmFlak38" and "Flak36" (without quotes), also restore the unmodified objects.rfa in Archives folder since you modified it as you said before, and it was the main cause why you experiencing CTD everytime you loading a map.
Always make a backup file if you want to edit something!

What do i do with the bin files?
Nothing. Just make sure the .exe and 4 .bin files are in the same folder, run the .exe and follow the installation process.
hey al13326, I have to tell you something ... and that is that I have a question with Battlegroup42, and my question is this: it turns out that I see that the maps of this mod what goes from 1940-1945 in all those based in Europe, Asia the Pacific ... now it seems that they are in chronological line, that in the modes Conquest and Objective but in Cooperative they are not nothing more I see a few that does not even know of what happened in the Second World War.
