Senior Financial Reporting & Controls Manager (Global Hedge Fund)

I have a rare senior opportunity at a highly respected global hedge fund. The firm has an exceptional reputation for both its performance and the high calibre of its global work force. Historically they have hired at the bottom of the pyramid but following recent growth are looking for an experienced individual to help lead the already exceptional team.

They operate across most strategies and product sets and have highly desirable offices across various locations in the US, Asia & Europe. They have experienced year on year growth of AuM & headcount for several years and are incredibly well positioned for continued growth.

The finance function covers all areas of the central management company. As the experienced member of the team you will have oversight of the monthly and annual financial statements, reporting and controls. You will be expected to be up to date with the most recent accounting regulations & policy and ensure these are effectively rolled out across the firm. Due to the size, scale and complexity of the organisation there are a number of ongoing projects that you will be expected to contribute and lead on.

The ideal profile will have 10 years+ experience working in a reporting/controls focused role and will be working in a hedge fund, bank, market-maker or dealer-broker. You will be a top performer who challenges how things are done and continuously strives to find improvements in infrastructure and process.
