This partnership aims to help growers and marketers meet the year-round demand of national retailers for high-quality fresh produce with stable pricing, addressing the challenges of volatile supply chains. Through this collaboration, Four Star Fruit Inc, will enable growers participating in the Predictable Commerce Programs to access financing mechanisms that reduce risks by assuring committed demand and pricing. This predictability lowers the financing risks associated with harvests, thereby reducing the overall cost of capital for the entire supply chain. Following a successful table grapes partnership that saw a significant increase in distributed produce, reduced retailer rejections, and minimized food waste, the new partnership aims to further expand and support growers in this innovative model, ultimately contributing to a more efficient, profitable, and sustainable supply chain for retailers.
