Our client, a leading Professional Service firm, located by Red Bank NJ, is currently adding an Accounting Manager to their team. This role will report to the corporate controller, and will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions which includes the monthly close process and financial reporting. The position will supervise a team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee preparation and posting of GL entries, completing various GL account reconciliations, researching, and correcting GL exceptions and generating various system reports.
Management of AP processes, including GL coding, accuracy of input and proper approvals, and monthly reviews including new vendors and file maintenance, overrides and other reports identified.
Ownership of month end and year end close processes to include preparation and posting of journal entries, completing various general ledger account reconciliations, variance analysis, GL reviews and other duties as assigned.
Process corporate card statements and conduct monthly reviews.
Serve as a contact point for annual audit and tax filings.
Assist payroll team to ensure proper posting of bi-weekly payroll including research and correcting of any discrepancies.
Filing of relevant paperwork and other clerical functions.
Cross Train and provide back-up throughout the team.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of Accounting Manager experience
ERP experience - Netsuite highly desired
Ability to work in-office
