Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detailed-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in financial management.

Here is what we need our Accounting Manager to do:

• Manage and supervise a global accounting team for all general ledger functions
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review daily and monthly journal entries.
• Manage processes and staff to drive an accurate and efficient month-end close process.
• Perform month-end consolidation activities.
• Delegate work appropriately to ensure department deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ac-curacy
• Provide support for annual audits and tax filings
• Support cash flow reporting and preparation of cash forecasts.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial in-formation
• Stay current on accounting regulations and industry best practices

What education and skills does our Accounting Manager need?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
• CPA certification preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• ERP implementation experience
• International and foreign currency exposure.
