Was like i said earlier. That match was for Cody to lose to Solo to set up Summerslam. The match itself was the main event compared to Seth/priest drew cash in to get screwed by punk. The finish to the tag was to set up Summerslam for likely Roman to show up at to stick it to Solo over Heyman. You were just thinking and looking for the instant pop pay off for mitb. The story line was to set up summerslam with tonights show as the set up to get more heat on Solo.

to see it coming you just gotta know story structure and read the narrative as you see the early pieces of it. Like tonight i knew if Drew won the ladder match he was cashing it and would get screwed. But i thought he would get screwed in the ladder match and jey would win because i talked myself into that in my head rather than go with my gut feeling on how it would go. It is obvious Knight is fighting Logan at Summerslam for the us title. So he wasn't winning. And only Drew or Jey was gonna win of the others.

It’s amazing because sometimes Haitch forget how short attention spans are these days. Show some unpredictability with the titles without becoming too much hot potato

Sami's character is best booked as the under achiever underdog who fights hard comes short, and then it matters that much more when he does win.

It felt forced when he beat Gunther because of everyone Gunther beat before him like Sheamus and Mcintyre and others. But ok it was what it was that could be accepted. But then Gable should have went over Sami in that feud the second time they fought. But no. And Bron definitely should not have lost.
Would Sami Zayn have beat Goldberg in WCW? lol no. Somebody like Bron should pulverize Sami.

Sami has a place around and at the top of the card but not the way they have been doing him since Mania. It's too forced in how its being done and its not organic at all. It feels like roman was done in 2015. Forced to the moon. The problem then was never Roman in general it was how he was booked and presented and it hurt him a long time until the tribal chief gimmick rebooted his career and made him what he always should have been.

And just like Roman at that time. Right now Sami is being over pushed too much. The main event at mania 39 was organic and him and Owens vs the usos deserved the main event of night 1. Sami wasn't the right pick to end Gunther's reign. But i could accept it. But if they wanted him to keep the belt for now, they should have waited on the matches with Gable and Bron. Winning both of those has only hurt Sami and now fans are tired of the forced push.

I was mad when he beat Gable to get the match with Gunther at mania. Because for story purposes that was Chad's spot ad it would have made more sense.
Sami was forced into the spot to begin this forced push and its likely because HHH is planning to give Sami the Raw title at wrestlemania so he wins the tag ic and world titles at 3 mania's in a row. Its the only reason to force push him this hard like this.

What a dumbass decision by myself but I let my brain kick my gut's ass. Even though I thought the PPV was just okay, Triple H and co. are reaaaaal good at keeping me on my toes.

is because khan's booking is is so chaotic and directionless its near impossible to read other than a few instances where you know he favors someone so much that they barely ever lose. And i can't be bothered to watch it anymore. So i take whatever L's i get on those shows and cut my losses. I value my time more than devoting any of it to AEW to better my scores in this lol.
