im torn between keiji and tarakasu honda. but i also like yukimura sanada and the dude with the musket(saike or something). i really love this game and i cant wait to unlock the dude with the two samurai swords he looks like hes be fun.

I havent played all of the characters yet so I am not sure who I like the most but I do like Yukimura and that guy with the 2 swords you are talking about is Musashi Miyamoto.

My favorite character both in playability and just plain... character would have to be Nagamasa Azai with Mitsuhide coming in second. Maxed out, Nagamasa is a walking apocalypse.

Can't really say I like too many of the new characters...

My favorite character to play as so far is Tadakatsu Honda, that guy is a ****ing juggernaut. I know he may not be new to most of you, but, as someone who has never played Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends, he's still very much new to me. I also really enjoyed playing as Ieyasu Tokugawa, tearing up peons with cannon fire is way too much fun.

I like Fuuma, but I dunno, something about playing as him made it feel like a chore to get levels done. I didn't really feel like I was having a whole lot of fun playing as him.. *shrugs* I dunno, I might give him a few more chances I suppose.

I'll wait until I've played as everybody before really answering, but so far, I've had the most fun playing as Mitsuhide, Kotaro, and Nobunaga. I predict that Tadakatsu and Musashi will be my favorite characters though.

Nobunaga, use his Special Attack 2 he rips apart every officer in a matter fo seconds even on hard.

Mine would have to be Magoichi Saika. Somethin about a rifle that can decimate large batches of enemies is always fun

Hmm, so far Ive played everyone, but I'd have to say my favorites are:
Nagamasa Azai
Yukimura Sanada
Mitsuhide Akechi (Jubei)
Nobunaga Oda

I also liked Magoichi and Hideyoshi, some parts of their storyline made me laugh

Tadakatsu was quite a powerhouse, I mean sheesh

I didnt really like Kotaro as much.. he just didnt seem like a ninja to me.. I still favor Hanzo

Ginchiyo is probably my favorite female character fighting-wise

And I have yet to play Musashi.. I plan on leveling him up quite a bit =P

i never really wanted to play as Musashi plus my friends always wanted to be him, but not included in my top 5 are as follows:

6. Mitsuhide
7. Yoshihiro
8. Ginchiyo
so on and so forth, i've never liked normal move set people, but Yoshihiro and Ginchiyo are exceptions.

u get mad at the guy for spelling people's names wrong then u go and spell names wrong. Magoichi "Saika" and it's "Keiji Maeda"

My favorites are Masamune Date(aka Masamune Dante lol) Mitsuhide Akechi, and Musashi Miyamoto. I do find some other characters enoyable to play as but these are my all time favorites.

I cant believe no one picked Ina. She is my favorite chatacter b/c using her special abilities and then her combo is just too fun fo me.

I will also have to add Goemon to my list. A cannon. 'Nuff said.

But as for girls:

1) Oichi
2) Noh- messed up, but bombs. also 'nuff said
3) Ranmaru lol
4) Okuni- in castle missions, she could float over traps
5) Kunoichi

Keep in mind that I have yet to obtain SW2 and plan on doin so soon.

on a side note someone somewhere else(hey ign does not always have answers) suggested that nobunaga's true love or sumthin should be added to the game. Do ya guys think that would contradict with the whole Nobunaga-Noh thing or could they just be in battle and then this girl warrior appears and says "That is not how a true woman should treat him"?

my favorites are as follows

1.Tadekastu Honda [who doesnt like a human tank....]
2.Magoichi Saika [nice moveset and i like the musket]
3.Masamune Date[ hmmm even though he is a arrogant brat he is a good char]
4.Inahime*Ina*[she is a realy neat char plus the bladed bow is pretty cool]
5.Nobunaga Oda[nice char plus he is sort of like a Japanese Darth Vader]
6.Ieayasu Tokugawa[ i like him because hes quite unique plus the cannon spear is very nice]
7.Kanetsugu Naoe [he is tied with Tadekatsu in 1st for my most favorite other than that the sword and charms is really neat]
8.Keiji Maeda [ again tied with Kanetsugu and Tadekatsu i like this guy because he is basically a Ronin and the double headed pike is cool plus his horse is cool]
9.Yoshihiro Shimazu[ i dont know why i like him but the giant hammer is cool]
10.Yukimura Sanada *aka the crimson samurai*[ i like his weapon and the way he looks nuff said]
11.Shingen Takeda*aka the tiger of kai*[he looks cool and his moveset is a bitt odd but its likeable

id tell ya more but it be a really long post so im gonna stop there

In SW 1, it was hands down... Kunoichi.
SW2, Kojiro followed by Oichi.
I was so pissed when they replaced Kunoichi with Nene.
I hate Nene. :<
