Personally, the ability to crash into the other rivals even while in race mode. I find this more entertaining due to the fact I am not great at racing games, and I also find it satisfying taking out the 1st place person and winning. It's just all round a fun experience.

Nothing is more satisfying than taking out other racers in the slow motion crash that you cause.
Well, that and the crash mode, I can play that with a friend for hours!
