Where would you rank it among the best KOF games. I haven't played it in years and was gonna buy it on XBL Arcade since it's only 400 MS pts.

A month late, I know, but I'll weigh in. Vanilla '02 was kind of broken. '02 UM, the version on XBLA, is actually among the best in the series in terms of game play. '98 UM, XI, and XIII probably rank higher, but it's still good. However the net play is around the same level of XIII's. It's likely almost empty. That sale has been over for a while, I think, but it's worth considering if you can get locals. If not, I'd consider something else.
