So - I may be overthinking things a bit - but I'm thinking this Saudi thing may be true? With Steph resigning yesterday ... That sort of makes sense if the Saudis are buying the company? They wouldn't want to see a woman in power anywhere near the top and could of affected the deal if they were in the final stages.

No it doesn't.
There are women CEOs in Saudi and the co-CEO of Newcastle United (owned by Saudis too) is also a woman
