Boards have finally transferred over.

We won't be able to post in threads of 10,000 posts or more until Xenforo fixes a glitch, so we shall have this thread in the mean time.

To switch to the Classic Theme....​

...go up to Boards Menu in the upper right cornerish area, then go to "Your Account", then go over to the column on the left and choose "Preferences". The first thing up near the top is "Styles". Click the Classic Theme (Alpha Version) and save changes.​

To PM someone....​

Click on a persons Avatar or user name and a box will pop up in the middle of the screen. One of the options in gray is "Start a Conversation". It's almost like an IM type of thing. You will get an alert when someone has responded to your question or conversation. Try it out with everyone to get the hang of it.

Tiger/G-funk feel free to edit as necessary.

Agreed with Shawn Woody. Go get an icon! Or rather go make (or find) a 140x140 image that you want. I finally ditched my snowboarder, but this has far greater meaning.

I use Class with Fixed Width, and I'd be willing to bet that Jeff uses the default white theme.

That changed when this board changed over, you now do transparent and it'll give a true transparency

You can make it completely transparent (no grey edges or anything) and save and upload it as a png file, then it'll look good on any theme.

Well I have my leaderboard from the PS3 Lobby to post. I want to make sure no other markup has changed except the images. I have to go through now and edit all of the image= to [IMG...

I just tested it out though and bold is the same.

New board rules suck. 25 images? Really? It should be a size limit. All the pictures I posted are 160x120 and around 30kb. It took 7 posts to get them all in. Oh well. Last thread I was gonna do anyway.

Just played the Forza demo. I'd DEFINITELY need a wheel if I owned the game. I LOVE that you can have a clutch on a controller though. That was kind of cool.

I think the strange thing about Forza is going from Forza to GT requires no real adjustment to how you drive, but going back the other way does require adjustment. Though that could be because I'm more practiced with GT. Using the clutch gives you HUGE advantage in Forza, I tried going back to regular manual and auto and found gear changes to be extremely slow, I've just still got to learn to be more smooth with gear changing in the more powerful cars.

I don't see how the format could be the same. /have you seen the sticky on the PS3 lobby? I'm working on fixing that list and after removing the images, the format was still broken. I'm going to have to completely redo the formatting.

Format definitely won't be the same. I don't know what Ben is gonna do with it though. If it were me, the board limits your options now with multiple colors (so putting the periods, dashes, x's and whatnot and highlighting them or coloring them grey or white won't work). That's why I changed to transparent images. Now you're only allowed 25 images. I could knock it down some if I wanted to, but it's out of my hands now.

There's good reason for why there's an image limit...not sure if anyone around here knows about the porn spammer, but we had to institute that to limit the amount of seriously sick **** that the moron was posting all over the Vesti The sicko would often post 2-300 images of stuff like meat spin in 1 post

The image limit on the old boards was there because of the DOS image script that someone found too...

I figured that out once I had everything fixed.

5 hours of work to make sure all links were correct. Missed a few spaces in the finished product but I'll get them next month.

Quite honestly, what's the difference of posting 100 naked women or 25? What's there is there? Seems there could be a better solution to me.

I think a more secure sign up system would be better overall.

Put some captcha on it Would kill the internet streaming spam as well.

As for the porn spammer, it's not the posting of naked women... it's the extremely disturbing stuff that was being posted constantly from what I've heard. The user has been doing that for a year now. You'd think they would get tired of doing it after that long but I guess not.

well whatever he posts, isn't 10 pictures still just as bad as 50? The point is it's there. Cutting it to 25 doesn't stop it.

But I agree that captcha would be a good thing to add. These streaming things are pissing me off.

It transferred but we can't post in it yet. That glitch hasn't been fixed yet either.

One picture would be bad enough. Maybe put in a post count minimum before a user can post images. They would still be spamming and be easily caught.
