My little brother just recently got spore for Christmas and was really excited to play it. We installed the game and went ahead to start it up but it ended up not working at all. A black screen appears and forces the computer to return to the desktop. We are running a windows 7 and it seems to not have viruses of any sort. Is the game meant to be run on a older computer? Or is this another one of EAs games that has a lot bugs? I play the sims 3 and I ran into the same problem and changed the screen resolution and it ended up working. However, Spore's read me file will not allow me to change the screen resolution. I've already re-installed it and looked at other forums. Could someone please help out? I'd really appreciate it!
I noticed that must of the threads are from are usually from 2008. And it's 2014.... If that's because nobody plays spore anymore then this is awkward. Really awkward.
