Hoping someone sees this. I was able to get my Wii back online with Wiimmfi, no problems. When I tried to set up my wife's I ran into the error code 23913 service too busy, try again.

In researching online I can't find a straight answer as to what's up. Something about it's a safeguard to keep hackers from making a bunch of profiles?

Does anyone know if there's a way for me to set up my wife's Wii? If nothing else we wanted to be able to visit each other's towns.

Also, she has pears, I have cherries, we need apples, oranges and pears, and neither of us has seen an axe. We normally play in the evenings 6 - 9 Central time.

You need to be running a soft mod wii. Look up "modmii" it is a pc program that will make modifications a breeze even if you are already on a modded wii modmii helps a ton.

I am using 4.3u system menu with bootmii directly to USB loader GX. Copy your game disk to the usb loader and play right off your hard drive. Before starting the game look under settings menu for game load option. Click that and look towards the bottom for a server/private server option.. Change from "Default " to "wiimmfi"

Now as you should know nintendo canceled online services to wii and Ds.
what this does is tells USB loader GX to use the private wiimmfi server and not the Nintendo connection.

Research " wiimmfi "

Using USB Loader GX ( assuming you have a modded wii , if not search for MODMII as it is a easy pc program that will guide you through the easiest process for modding )

Ok Back to USB LOADER GX
When you go to start the game click on the game settings first. Then click on Game LOAD option
Scroll down to Private Server ( Or some option for server near the bottom ) and change from default to wiimmfi

Then start animal crossing .... go back to the gate and ask the dog on the right for a friend code using Nintendo connection ( not the DS one) The USB LOADER has already patched this to go to wiimmfi so you will get your code
