Cheats and Secrets
There are not too many Yakuza 6 Cheats and Secrets, but there are a few little hidden Easter Eggs and such, including references to previous games in the franchise. If you know any cheats, feel free to click that Edit button up there and add to the wiki!
The Hidden Safe
Most of the safes in the game are shown on the map and are indicated by a key icon, and they are opened with safe keys that are usually nearby the safes themselves. However, there is one hidden safe that requires a different way to crack it.
First, you need to reach the roof of the New Serena bar. You can get there by going up the fire escape in the back of the building. Once on top, look near the south edge of the roof and you should see a safe nestled between two air conditioning units. The screenshot below shows its exact position.
Unlike every other safe in the game, this one requires a code of many characters to enter. The code is pieced together from different websites and interactive scenes, but can be opened immediately if you know what the code is. The code is shown below behind the spoiler tag, but be warned that it is to be entered without spaces; this wiki shows the spaces merely to make it easier to read.
Inside the safe is a Rainbow Bun, which grants 500 XP to each of the five types of XP, and 1 million yen. Both will give you a massive start in the game, and you'll be able to acquire a second Rainbow Bun in a moment. Given that you can access the safe immediately upon starting a new game, this will give you a huge boost to get started!
Clan Creator Codes
Clan Creator is the most robust Mini-Game in Yakuza 6 and requires some in-game recruitment for allies. By speaking to Masao (the man in a yellow jacket shown above), you can enter codes to make the process a bit faster. You'll still need to recruit to maximize your power, but by entering the codes below you can get a good start.
Note that some of the characters are heavy players within the plot. These are probably considered non-canon for the sake of the story, though they are some of the strongest in the game once they're leveled up.
The codes are not case-sensitive. They are intercapped on the wiki for readability but can be entered in all caps, all lowercase, or anything in between.
