Collectibles
Welcome to IGN's Subnautica: Below Zero guide. This portion of the guide will explain in-game collectibles.
While Collectibles are not required for story progress, you will find these items while playing through the story and may wish to display some in your base.
You do not need to collect any or all of them to beat the game, but some have sentimental value or are references to games and creatures or funny phrases.
Collectibles
Throughout the game you will find lots of collectibles, most commonly posters. You will also find pictures of Sam Ayou's cat and her necklace.
There is no tracker for how many collectibles are in the game or how many you have, but you can store them indefinitely in various storage containers or display posters and pictures in your Drop Pod or habitat and base elements you may build.
Where to Find Collectibles
Most Collectibles are found while exploring inhabited base stations, because posters and photos are left behind by the previous Alterra employees.
You can find Collectibles in:
- Delta Station
- Phi Robotics Lab
- Outpost Zero
And other locations.
