Achievements and Trophies
Welcome to IGN's complete list of Stray achievements and trophies including secret Achievements/Trophies. We've got everything you need to maximize your Gamerscore and/or deck out your trophy cabinet.
In total, there are 24 Achievements and 25 Trophies:
- 1 Platinum Trophy
- 7 Gold Trophies
- 9 Silver Trophies
- 8 Bronze Trophies
Below you will find our guide to collecting each trophy and achievement in Stray, with tips and strategies for each one, and a checklist to keep track of your current progress. Before you get started, take note of the following requirements and parameters needed to get them all.
- You will likely need to play Stray more than once to get every Trophy (once for 100% run, twice for a speed run)
- You do not need to change the difficulty (There are no difficulty options)
- There are no missable achievements (You can replay any chapter to quickly revisit an area, or reload the last checkpoint if you missed something)

Stray Achievements and Trophies List
This trophy is fairly easy to obtain, and will likely be gotten long before you finish the game. You need only press Circle to meow at any time (which can even be done during cutscenes!), giving you plenty of opportunities to meow over the course of your adventure.
Much like meowing 100 times, this trophy will likely be gained over the natural course of your playthrough, as you'll be jumping everywhere just to get around. Jumping anywhere is the simple of act of looking for the indicator on nearby ledges and pressing the prompt (X on PlayStation) to jump to the marked spot.
For this trophy, you need to find any of the various spots around Stray that let you interact with a spot on the ground by pressing Triangle, where the cat will hunker down and begin to sleep. You'll need to stay sleeping for a cumulative time of 1 hour across any of these spots, but you won't be able to do anything else during this period - so make sure your game is running as you set your controller down for a bit.
Locations you can sleep at largely include spots in "hub" settlements where the Companion robots live, including The Slums, Antvillage, and Midtown - or you can remaing sleeping after the cutscene that plays in the finale.
This trophy involves a simple yet sometimes frustrating act of getting a basketball into a bucket, which can be found soon after entering The Slums, just to the right of where you talk to the Guardian. See the guide for where to find the basketball and tips for dunking here.
To get this trophy, you'll need to race through the very first Zurk chase sequence in Chapter 2, but without getting grabbed by any of the little creatures. The sequence only lasts for less than a minute, but the movement and jumping patterns of the Zurk are fairly erratic.
The good news is that you can reload the checkpoint if anything grabs you to immediately try again, but it may take a lot of trial and error (and a fair bit of random luck) to zig-zag between their lunges and escape without getting touched.
You'll gain this trophy if you can make it all the way through both Midtown's Neco Corp facility and the apartment area afterwards without any Sentinels noticing you.
The best way to handle this trophy is to take everything nice and slow - as all the Sentinels move in very methodical patterns (or remain stationary) and you'll be able to figure out an optimal time to move past them after a few moments of watching them. Use cover as much as possible, and when leaving Clementine's apartment - be wary of the one patrolling right outside her door.
For this simple trophy, you'll unfortunately have to subject your cat to some bad times, and die at least 9 times at any point in the story. The quickest way to do so would be in any chapter containing the Zurk chase sequences like the Dead City, Dead End, or Sewers, and keep dying and reloading until the trophy is triggered.
This hidden trophy can be easily missed if you don't know what to look for, as it can only be obtained at the very end of the Midtown chapter once you enter the Nightclub. It involves finding a discarded vinyl and using it at the DJ table to do some serious scratching - See the guide for where to find the vinyl here.
This trophy can be a little hard to obtain, as you won't be able to use B-12's Defluxor light to kill any Zurk you encounter in the Sewers chapter up until the very end, meaning you'll have to do a lot of evasion and sneaking around the large eggs that will spawn Zurk if you're not careful.
Note that you're still able to lure Zurk into jumping to their doom off ledges or into water, but you just can't destroy them by using the intense lights.
One of the harder trophies to complete, you'll want to save this one for a second playthrough. Once you've gotten a feel for how each chapter progresses, where to go, and who to talk to, start a new game and move as fast as you can through it to beat the game in under 2 hours. Some helpful tips to remember are that you only need to talk to a few robots in the game - like the first Guardian, Momo, Seamus, and the Outsiders.
You can also ignore all the side quests and collectibles along the way, and while you can't skip cutscenes, you can skip most dialogue and focus on running to every destination. See our speedrunning tips guide here.
This trophy is obtained by completing Chapter 1 of Stray.
This trophy is obtained by playing through Chapter 3 of Stray.
This trophy is obtained by playing through Chapter 4 of Stray.
This trophy is obtianed by reaching Chapter 10 of Stray.
This trophy is obtained by reaching Chapter 11 of Stray.
This trophy is obtained by playing through Chapter 12 of Stray.
To get this trophy, you will need to collect all 8 Music Sheets that are scattered around The Slums. This can be done at any time in Chapter 4 and into Chapter 6, but once you leave for the Sewers you can no longer return to the The Slums. Most of the music sheets are located in the few buildings you can enter, while others are locked in safes or traded for other items. View all Music Sheet locations here.
This simple trophy can be claimed at a few points in the story, mainly during Chapter 4 or Chapter 6 in The Slums. You need to approach a paper bag on the ground and interact with it by pressing Triangle. During this time, your movement will be reversed for a short duration. The paper bags are commonly found near Morusque the musical robot, in the alley near the Super Spirit Laundry, or in Momo's apartment.
For this easy trophy, you can obtain it in Chapter 9 upon reaching Antvillage. Soon after entering, the first platform of the village has two robots playing mahjong at a table on the balcony. All you need to do is jump on the table for Player 3 to enter the game, and you'll get the achievement.
This trophy can easily be gained either in the The Slums, Antvillage, or Midtown over the course of the story. Many robots that you can speak to by pressing Square may also have a second interaction when you are close to their legs by pressing Triangle, causing the cat to nuzzle up alongside them. You need only do this five times over the course of the story to get the acheivement.
One of the more involved trophies in the game, you'll need to collect all of B-12's Memories, including the optional and hidden memories scattered in most chapters. Some of these are in plain view, or located in areas you'll visit naturally, while some memories are located in more out of view spots that you'll need to explore to reach. See the list of all Memory Locations here.
This simple trophy can be gained while you are in The Slums in either Chapter 4 or Chapter 6. Up on the rooftops to the right of Momo's apartment, look for a large couch and a television near the entrance to the Library where Doc's Notebook was kept. There's a remote on the couch you can keep interacting with to change the channels, and after changing the channel enough times, the achievement will be unlocked.
Much like the Memories, this more involved trophy requires you to find all the collectible Badges in Stray. Certain badges are given as part of the story, others will require you to perform tasks for certain Robots, and a few of them are hidden in special places. See the list of where to find every Badge here.
This is one of the harder trophies to obtain, as you'll need to be on the lookout for something you can scratch at in each chapter of Stray - starting with the prologue. You'll have to look for an object or part of the floor that allows you to press Triangle to interact, and then scratch for a bit by pressing the trigger buttons before stopping.
Certain chapters have multiple places to scratch at - or require you to scratch to move the story forward, while other chapters only have a few (or even a single spot) to scratch - especially when out of the robot settlements. See the guide on locations to scratch here.
