Checklists
Calico Desert
The Calico Desert is a region of Stardew Valley to the far northwest of Pelican Town. You cannot access it until you repair the Bus Stop, either by purchasing all of the Vault Bundles (which costs 43,500g), or by buying the Joja Community Development Form (which costs 40,000g). At this point, Pam becomes the bus driver and will take you to the Calico Desert for 500g.
Parts of the Desert
There are a few different parts to the Desert, including some stores and buildings which have their own pages, and more minor regions.
- Casino - a casino in the back of the Oasis
- Desert Trader - a store
- Oasis - a store
- Sand Dragon - a landmark
- Skull Cavern - a cave
- Three Pillars - a landmark
- Warp Statue - a landmark
Foraging
Like a lot of regions, there is an opportunity to forage in the Calico Desert, though it's slim pickings. You can only find a Coconut or a Cactus Fruit, and have a 50% chance of finding each.
Fishing
You can also fish in the Calico Desert, though much like the foraging, there isn't a great deal of variety.

Artifacts
In what is becoming a theme, there are artifacts here, but not too many of them. Still, there are some interesting and rarer ones, so it is worth digging for them.
- Palm Fossil (7%)
- Golden Relic (6%)
- Golden Mask (3%)
As well as these, you can also find Clay, Lost Books, and Stones. If you have a Magnifying Glass, you can also uncover a lost note.
