New Journey Plus
In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new game mode has been added on May 4th, 2020. New Journey Plus allows players to replay the game from a completed save file, while taking over key unlocks and skills from their previous game.
How to Unlock New Journey Plus
In order to get the option for New Journey Plus, you must have beaten the game on any difficulty. Doing this will mark your save file as "complete" even though it puts you right before the final battle.
Once you have updated the game to Patch 1.09, you will find a new option to "Start New Journey +" in addition to loading an existing Journey or starting a new one.
What Transfers Over Into New Journey Plus
Jedi Fallen Order has a lot of different mechanics and collectibles that you can obtain over the course of the game, and certain things will carry over to your new game. These include:
- All Collectibles - Skins, Lightsaber Parts Obtained (chests will remain open)
- All Lightsaber Colors
- All Skills Unlocked
However, due to the game's nature, Cal will start New Journey Plus without most of his force powers, and will not be able to use them - or the associated upgraded skills - until that force power is unlocked through the course of the game.
Additional Unlocks
Once you begin a New Journey Plus, you will automatically unlock a new Inquisitor Outfit and Red Lightsaber for Cal Kestis. This outfit can only be worn in new playthroughs, and does not retroactively apply to other saved games.
