Tips, Tricks, and Strategies
Playing in Star Wars: Hunters Arenas and trying to outsmart your enemies is a world of fun. However, there are tips and tricks that can take your skills to the next level. In this wiki entry, we've compiled our best tips, tricks, and strategies to use before, during, and after a match.
Before a Match Tips
Below you'll find the best tips and tricks to keep in mind before an Arena match.
Pay Attention to your team's needs
Before matches, each player can choose a hunter they have previously unlocked. With each hunter having a different role (damage, support, or tank) it's easy for your team comp to get out of balance quickly.
That's why you should pay attention to what type of characters the other members of your team are using, this way you can choose wisely which role you want to play during the match.
Each game mode requires different roles, but as a rule of thumb, a balanced squad has one tank, one healer, and two damage hunters.
Don't underestimate Training Mode
We get it, as soon as you have unlocked a new hunter the only thing you want to do is go head-first into a match to try out this new character. However, we strongly advise you test hunters out in training mode first, this way you can get used to the abilities and weapon the hunter has without the challenges an Arena match presents.
Optimize your time and complete quests criteria
Before starting a match, look into the quests tab to look up which quests you still need to complete. Some quests require you to do certain things using a specific hunter, so knowing this beforehand makes it easier to choose which hunter to bring to battle.
Memorize Battlegrounds
All maps have plenty of health and energy pick-ups you can use to heal yourself or recharge your ultimate moves. If you memorize where these pickups are, you'll know where to run when things get tough.
During a Match Tips
Below you'll find the best tips and tricks to keep in mind during an Arena match.
Pay attention to the map
Before each match, the game will assign your team a random battlefield to play in. While all maps have health and energy pick-ups scattered around, some of them have additional elements that can harm you and your team, like missiles and areas you can fall off of.
We recommend paying attention to the map you're playing in to try and memorize any potential threat the environment has.
Pay attention to your health
Dying in Star Wars: Hunters doesn't mean game over. Instead, you'll have to wait a few seconds before respawning. Not only is this an inconvenience but it can cost your team the game if you're playing a game mode like Squad Brawl where every time you're eliminated, the other team scores a point.
To avoid this, keep a close eye on your health bar and get out of combat when you see you have almost zero health left. This is difficult to do when you're solely focusing on eliminating the other team, but it's worth it in the long run.
Go up!
To keep things interesting, battlefields have different areas you can use to your advantage. When playing the Squad Brawl game mode, if you're using a character that has the grappling hook ability or a long-range weapon, we recommend that you go to higher ground and target your enemies from there. Doing so will give you a nice view of the battlefield so you can anticipate which enemies are coming your way or you can aid your partners without risk being eliminated. Also, these areas usually have walls that you can use to cover from incoming attacks.
Your squad is stronger together
When playing game modes like Power Control don't go wandering around the battlefield looking for trouble, instead, stick with at least one team member at all times. Doing so will increase your chances of securing and holding the control points on the map.

Fame Grants vs Fame Rewards
After a match, you'll get Fame Rewards points for the character you used. However, sometimes you'll get Fame Grants for completing certain quests. Since Fram Grants are not character exclusive and you can use them in any hunter you have unlocked, we recommend you use them in hunters you don't usually main so you can still have them up to date.
