This page contains a list of cheats, codes, Easter eggs, tips, and other secrets for Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green for Game Boy Advance.
Hint - Stronger Opposing Trainers
Use the VS Seeker to challenge trainers you've already faced to a rematch. Each route area has at least one trainer whose pokemon gain levels and evolve during the game. Here are the things that make these trainers more powerful:
- Get the VS Seeker
- Enter Fuchsia City
- Defeat the Pokemon League
- Complete the link with Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire
Unlock Enable trading to Ruby and Sapphire
Go fix the Network Machine on Island 1. This is done by getting both the Sapphire and Ruby (in game items) and bringing them to the machine.
Diploma
Fill National Dex completely.
Version Exclusive Pokemon
These Pokemon can NOT be found in Fire Red and have to be traded from Leaf Green/Ruby/Sapphire/Colosseum:

Mystery Gift
In any Pokemon Center, go to the clipboard by the shop owner and enter "Link Together With All." You will now have access to the mystery gift system.
Secret ItemFinder Rewards
If you stand in places previously occupied by important characters and use the ItemFinder, you will receive special unlockable items, as indicated below:
- Leftovers - Stand where Snorlax was located (near Cycling Road and Silence Bridge)
- Macho Brace - Stand where Giovanni was located (in Viridian Gym)
- Sacred Ash - Stand where Ho-Oh was located, in Naval Rock
- Soothe Bell - Stand where Mr. Fuji was located (in the Pokemon Tower)
Trainer Card Stickers
If you talk to the man inside the house located in the lowest portion of Island Four, you can receive the special unlockables indicated below by satisfying the corresponding requirements:
- Egg Hatching Sticker #1 - Hatch an egg (1 time)
- Egg Hatching Sticker #2 - Hatch an egg (100 times)
- Egg Hatching Sticker #3 - Hatch an egg (200 times)
- Egg Hatching Sticker #4 - Hatch an egg (300 times)
- Hall of Fame Sticker #1 - Beat the Elite Four (1 time)
- Hall of Fame Sticker #2 - Beat the Elite Four (40 times)
- Hall of Fame Sticker #3 - Beat the Elite Four (100 times)
- Hall of Fame Sticker #4 - Beat the Elite Four (200 times)
- Winning a Link Battle Sticker #1 - Win a link battle (1 time)
- Winning a Link Battle Sticker #2 - Win a link battle (20 times)
- Winning a Link Battle Sticker #3 - Win a link battle (50 times)
- Winning a Link Battle Sticker #4 - Win a link battle (100 times)
Upgraded Trainer Card
You can upgrade your trainer card as many as four times, applying special stars in the process, by completing the corresponding requirements indicated below.
- 1 star - Defeat the Elite Four
- 2 stars - Complete the Kanto Dex (consisting of Pokemon 1-150)
- 3 stars - Complete the National Dex (excluding Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Deoxys)
- 4 stars - In Pokemon Jump, score 200 jumps, and also obtain 200 berries in Dodrio Berry Picking
