Elsword Guide
Story
Ruben
This is simply a tutorial area. You will learn how to use things like skills, movement, SP, and more. This area kicks off the story by explaining that a theif, Bathus, has stolen the El Shard from the Tree of El and disrupted the forest, making the creatures violent to any outsiders. You beat them and you receive a plan Bathus dropped that said he went to the merchant little-sibling town of Elder. [CHARACTERS INTRODUCED: ELSWORD (1), AISHA (3), RENA (2)]
Elder
This is also a tutorial area, but it explains more complex systems like Enchancing, Attributing, and more. Bathus is finally locked away but not before he passes off the El once more- to the rebelling Lord of the town, Wally. It has been said that Wally was using the El to make Nasods, a race of worker machines, that, when the humans didnt treat them right, rebelling, in favor of the humans. The Queen, desperate to live, sealed herself into a capsule in Altera. The Elgang finds Wally and fights his current model- Wally No.8- and defeats it. Wally escapes on No.9 with the El. This area is where Job Changes are introduced. They can vary from Sword Knight to High Mage to Sniping Ranger to Chiliarch to Time Tracer to Dark Knight- yes, Dark Knight. First time you arrive in Elder after acheiving level 15, you are given a selection screen. exit this, (unless you have K-Ching) and press L. find class change and do your respective character's base quest then pick your poison.
Bethma/Besma
You were led here by the fleeing Wally's path. The village is in a quarrel- and, like any other game, you have to stop them. The Lizard Shaman Kayak was mind controlling the lizards. You defeat them, and head to the European accessory shopkeeper's mine, and get rid of Wally's Nasods there. You then find a map for the Cargo Airship, where Wally is hiding. You defeat him and Wally No.9. The Cargo Airship crashes by a mysterious Air Fleet, in which case a male with a mechanical arm siezes the El Shard.
altera
Following the ship, you end up boarding it and killing off the crew under the beggings/wishes of a peaceful, shaggy dog/mole race called the Ponggos. You confront the Captian, Raven, who, on the brink of death after being broken out of jail for a false accusatian, was "rescued" by some Nasod and made a cyborg, but was also mind-controlled. The Elgang breaks him out of the mind-control and joins them as a way to "make up for his sins". They travel over some plains, nicknamed "The Nasod Tomb" and make it to some Altersia (fungi)-infested mines. they clear it out can go through some more plains and beat up some elemental nasod twins (Ignis and Levitatian). They reach the cradle of the Nasods, the Nasod Foundry, and take out a clone of Raven. Crow Rider. (Warning: he has Crowlets that he spawns). Then they reach the "Castle" of the Nasods; Altera Core, which takes up the bottom half of the island and keeps in mid-air. They stop the King Nasod and take the El, waking the Nasod Queen Eve, who was awakened by Elswords annoying loud voice. He offers to be her friend, which she accepts, not knowing what to say since Nasods dont really know the term "friends", She joins the Elgang. [CHARACTERS: RAVEN (4), EVE (5)] You can advance your job here to its final stage. at level 35, go to Altera and press L. you should see a job change quest in the window. the advancements for the classes I mentioned earlier are Lord Knight, Elemental Master, Grand Archer, Dreadlord, Diabolic Esper and Crimson Avenger. typically these 2nd change quests are hellish to complete but are worth it. Diabolic Esper currently has the hardest quest with a lv42 minimum level requirement to finish the last quest in the last Feita dungeon.
feita/peita
After retreiving the El and returning it to Ruben, Stella (Besma chief) informs you that Allegro from Feita has arrived to ask for your assistance in a demon invasion. They agree, and fight demons ranging from Headless, to stone, to ghost, to plant and to gargoyle. (WARNING: Cutty Sark will be the bane of all newbies.) Then they fight the original final boss of the game, Berthe. Berthe is a giant dog-like Ice Demon. Berthe is defeated and the portal that allows the first invasion is closed. Velder calls for the heroes to help with their problem.
