How To Use The Bloodweb
This page will take you through how important the bloodweb is in Dead by Daylight. You'll learn how to spend your bloodpoints to unlock perks, offerings, and items and add-ons, as well as levelling up your characters.
Using The Bloodweb
In each trial, Killers and Survivors will earn bloodpoints for various actions. These actions fall under 4 categories.
For Survivors, these categories are:
- Objectives
- Survival
- Altruism
- Boldness
For Killers, these categories are:
- Brutality
- Deviousness
- Hunting
- Sacrifice
Without offerings, the maximum amount of bloodpoints that can be earned in each category is 8,000 bloodpoints. Offerings can affect the amount of bonus bloodpoints awarded post trial from 25%-100%. The list of offerings for both Survivor and Killer can be found in this section.Bloodpoints are then used as currency and spent on the bloodweb to progress your character. You will be able to spend bloodpoints to unlock items (for Survivors) add-ons, offerings and perks. When you first open the bloodweb, you will see that everything is connected by little nodes. You will need to follow the nodes to be able to unlock things.
The more bloodpoints you earn, the more bloodpoints you can spend on a character, increasing their level.
When you reach level 10 for a character on the bloodweb, you awaken The Entity. The Entity will then begin to take things away from the bloodweb on each level. You will need to choose which nodes to follow carefully.
The bloodweb is where you can also unlock teachable perks for both Survivor and Killer. These will first unlock at level 30+, then 35+ and finally 40+. When teachable perks are unlocked, they will begin to appear in the bloodweb or other characters.
