Oculi Crafting
Oculi & Oculi Crafting
Oculi are gems found from beating enemies or in chests around the field. They can be equipped on your weapon, armor, or timeline to affect your attack, defense, or other attributes respectively. The quality of the stone will affect how strong the effect is. Oculi can be equipped or unequipped at will at any time other than during a battle. If you unequip an oculi, you will not lose it.
Up to three oculi can be combined to craft a better (or at least different) type. You can preview the output of a crafting combination before committing to it, or you can consult our charts below. All crafting is exact, and there is never a chance of failure.
Oculi Types
To craft an oculi, you simply need to combine multiple stones to create a new, different type. You can increase the quality of a stone type by combining three like stones together:
Ingredients | Output |
3x Same Rough | Tumbled |
3x Same Tumbled | Faceted |
3x Same Faceted | Brilliant |
You can also combine different types of stones, allowing you to create a new type of stone with an increased rarity. When doing this, you often only need two stones rather than a full three:
Ingredients | Output |
Sapphire Ruby | Amethyst |
Sapphire Emerald | Tourmaline |
Ruby Emerald | Citrine |
Sapphire Ruby Emerald | Diamond |
Amethyst Tournmaline Citrine | Onyx |
Diamond Onyx | Spinel |
Brilliant Diamond Brilliant Onyx Brilliant Spinel | Princess Stone* |
Note: The Princess Stone is a singular oculi with only one level of strength.
Effects
All oculi are listed below, first listed by category, then by gem type and quality.
Attack Effects
Oculi that are attached to your weapon add elements to every attack. Enemies are often weak against a particular element, so if you know that ahead of time, you can slot the appropriate oculi and have easier fights. Better quality oculi increases the effects.
With rough quality, the first four gems listed below (Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and Citrine) only add the elemental effect. Better quality increases damage on top of it. So for example, a rough Sapphire adds water damage to all your attacks; a tumbled Sapphire adds water and an 8% damage boost.
Gem | Rough | Tumbled | Faceted | Brilliant |
Sapphire | Water | +8% Dmg | +12% Dmg | +16% Dmg |
Emerald | Lightning | +8% Dmg | +12% Dmg | +16% Dmg |
Ruby | Fire | +8% Dmg | +12% Dmg | +16% Dmg |

Tourmaline | Paralyze Chance | 10% for 3 sec | 15% for 6 sec | 20% for 9 sec |
Diamond | Speed Increase | 2x Speed | 3x Speed | 4x Speed |
Onyx | +10% Magic Dmg | +15% Magic Dmg | +20% Magic Dmg | +25% Magic Dmg |
Spinel | +15% Dmg (no element) | +20% Dmg | +25% Dmg | +30% Dmg |
Princess Stone | +40% Physical Damage |
Defense Effects
Oculi that are attached to your armor provide defensive boosts for specific elements. Rough quality gems add a little resistance to a particular element; better quality oculi increase this resistance.
