It's an excellent revision of Samus's original adventure. Much closer to Super Metroid than Metroid Fusion, it retains the Metroidvania style very well, and the progression feels very smooth.
A very good start to the saga, and a very well-crafted title for the NES.
It's an excellent experience, with mind-blowing graphics and simply spectacular CGI. Unfortunately, in terms of gameplay, it's a step back compared to its first installment, prioritizing combat spectacle over playability. In summary, it's a very good "movie-game."
It's Doom - isn't that enough? I think it's a must-play for any gaming fan.

What an epic return for the series! Great soundtrack, intense gameplay, excellent graphics, highly replayable, and every time you defeat an enemy, it feels amazing. It's also very well optimized.
It's a strange game. I played it with low expectations, and I actually liked it. It's not an excellent Doom, but it's a decent one.
A short but very entertaining adventure, definitely worth giving it a chance.
Without a doubt, it's a glorious start to Samus's saga. While it can be a *****allenging today, it's worth playing if you like the series. Don't rush through it; be patient, and this game will surprise you.
It's incredible how such a well-structured adventure fits into a modest device like the Game Boy. It knows its limitations and develops perfectly within those boundaries.
A very good indie game, even to this day.
This game is like reliving Metroid at its best in its 2D saga, very replayable and with excellent combat.
It is the cornerstone of the Metroidvania games that would come after. If you are a fan of the genre, it is a must-play to understant it. For me, it's perfect, and to this day, I still play it from time to time
