Luigi's Mansion 3 Review
great
Luigi's Mansion 3 is so fun, charming, and smartly designed that I hope we get more than three of these every 20 years.

Summary
Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them. Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. Interchange between Luigi and Gooigi as one player, or grab a friend and control one each.

Really fun, imaginative and graphically impressive game that is bogged down by bad controls

Luigi’s Mansion 3 has some of the best animation and graphics I have ever seen in a Mario game. It feels like the video game equivalent of a blockbuster movie. Unique set pieces and bosses keep this game from feeling stale, and the overall art style of the game separates itself from the looks of other games out today. The gameplay is fun too. Slamming the ghost on the ground side to side and pulling them into Luigi’s ghost catching vacuum feels great.
I only have two critiques. One is the lack of enemy variety in the ghosts that the aren’t bosses. You see a lot of the same few types of ghosts throughout the game. What does help this a bit is the environments they are in. The ghost will sometimes take advantage of the different objects in the room and use it against Luigi. My second critique is the fact that while collecting money feels so satisfying, there isn’t a lot to spend it on. You can spend it on extra lives or hints to certain collectables. So if you want to play the game on “hard mode,” by not buying extra lives or not using hints you wouldn’t spend any money at all throughout the game.

A game I thoroughly enjoyed. Really puzzle based which I think many games lack. Even the combats were made more unique from each other as you had to figure out what to do, which I must say was a little though. The mechanics of the game were very different from anything I have tried, so took a bit of getting used to, but definitely worth at the end. As a completionist the game took me about 20h to finish, and at no point, maybe but the boos, did I feel like I was grinding too much, however I do think it is unfortunate you can't go back and collect anything after beating the final boss. It is filled with small details that make the game truly immersive.

Great ambience, amazing feeling of discovering new things and of course, very good humor, this is overall the best Luigi’s Mansion to date. I’d loved to see a little bit darker side on the title, just as the first Luigi’s Mansion, but given the opportunity to be more family friendly, it just works perfectly.

Maybe the best looking Switch game; extremely charming; full of personality; diverse and well executed puzzles. Overall, it’s more of a chill game that’s a pleasure for the eyes and brain.

The game is a lot of fun and has great options for multiple players. I love the Luigi's Mansion franchise, from the first one on the GameCube and the second one on the Nintendo 3DS!

Inventive and fun. Looks and runs great on Switch. Fun concepts with a minor Metroidvania gameplay loop. The co op campaign and scarescraper modes are perfection. Love it.

I didn't like it at the start. Seemed very slow. Suddenly I was HOOKED!! Stay past the intro - it's worth it!
I really liked that you have to think hard about how to solve puzzles.

Being my first Luigi's Mansion game it was a blast! The game play was fun and different and each level had varying mechanics, making it fun to take my time in the game. The basic controls were a bit clunky sometimes and the multiplayer was a bit irrelevant, but overall it was an outstanding experience.
