Final Fantasy 7 Remake Review
great
Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s dull filler and convoluted additions can cause it to stumble, but it still breathes exciting new life into a classic while standing as a great RPG all its own.

Summary
An evil power company called Shinra has found a way to mine the planet's life energy, draining it and using it to control the universe. Fortunately, a resistance organization known as Avalanche has vowed to put an end to Shinra's destructive practices in the blockbuster RPG Final Fantasy VII.
Final Fantasy VII Remake News
If I was rating this game on how good I think it is, it would be an 8. If I was rating this game on how much I liked it, it would be a 6. Hence the 7. A well made game but one I can't love. The pacing seemed really off to me and as someone new to the FF7 it didn't really make the story sing to me. The side content was irrelevant to the story and at times annoying. The hybrid combat system was not for me. I felt like I could never get in a rhythm and I still didn't feel comfortable even by the final battle. This is the first game I've played where I was happy it was over by the time the credits came around. I thought I would be excited for Rebirth but now I think I need a break before I start.
