A great game improving on the first with augmentations to improve on your abilities, giving you freedom to tackle the levels either with stealth or run and gun combat. Cyberpunk fans will like it.

While this review is new, this player, is not. I have had this game since day one and also have Day One Edition, so I do have more access to certain in-game cosmetics that the standard copies will not have (They don't really make much of a difference outside of just Jensen's armor / trench coat appearance). This game is very good at immersing it's players in it's world. While it can be buggy, it is still a brilliant title and I have played it through multiple times for different endings. It does have a New Game+ feature, which adds more replayability to the game itself, though there won't be many large changes outside of some upgrades that may not have been obtainable in your first playthrough. This is encouraging for players who are seeking a game that is replayable, though I do recommend putting it down for a while before picking up New Game+ to give you more of a fresh experience. Thank you Eidos Montreal for this title.
**NOTE: If you are new to the main character Jensen, and this is your first Deus EX game, I would HIGHLY recommend playing Deus EX: Human Revolution (DE:HR) first. Both games are brilliant, however there are some side quests that will contain spoilers for Human Revolution, so I'd very much recommend playing through it if you don't want said spoilers. Control Schematics are a bit of a learning curve and do change between DE:HR and DE:MD, however there is an option to switch to the classic controls from DE:HR, if you prefer to do so, though personally I believe that the controls are far more streamlined in this title.
