Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance Review
bad
Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance is a mess, with clunky combat, way too many pointless puzzles, and baffling choices for which scenes from the series to highlight.

This game is an unplayable mess. If you like cheap puzzle games that you'd get on the app store and have $50 to waste, then get it, but it's truly terrible across the board. The story makes no sense, it isn't so much a game as a bunch of random maps loosely inspired by locations in the show that don't make any sense as a coherent game. For example, all of the first two episodes of the show is adapted into just a bad mission with aang and katara on the ship, a bad penguin racing game, and then it cuts right to Zuko's ship. None of the puzzles have anything to do with plot. Who is zuko? Why is he hunting the avatar? If you've seen the show you know, but this game just sort of jumps around to levels the developers felt like creating. I wish I hadn't spend $1 on it, nevermind $50. Crazy bad.

Great detail and design but it lacks a proper sense of story not to mention combat and elemental power. Can only use avatar state once at the end fighting firelord and never again. for example in The Legend of Korra the combat and techniques are oustanding and as a bonus you can use avatar state anytime aas long as you buy it in the store but in this new avatar you cant they really need to fix it or at least make a real Avatar The Last Airbender based on the original story

I am a huge Avatar: The Last Airbender fan, as well as Legend of Korra. I was looking for a real game to play for this series, but this just isn't it. The combat is terrible, the story is shortened, and the developers changed and added too much stuff. This game didn't feel enjoyable, which is disappointing for me and for others. The puzzles were an okay touch, but they were really grueling to an extent where I literally looked on YouTube on how to solve some of them. The gameplay all-in-all is not at all worth it and I think we're going to have to wait a bit longer for a real Avatar game.

Is this a great game? Not really. However if you are a Avatar: the Last Airbender fan, i would recommend playing it through it once. The story is told by Iroh, Bummi, and Pakku. Its interesting as a fan to hear their side of the Story. Other then that a few unexpected playable character which make the ending fun. Tons of easter eggs for ******** fans and you can irritate the cabbage man as many times as your heart desires. Again, not a complete waste of time, unless you have never seen the Avatar series in its entirety.
