Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs News
So many problems here… I’ll get the good out of the way.
It feels creepy on a occasion if you allow yourself to get immersed and the environments (albeit a rehash of Dark Descent in terms of style) look good.
This is too easy. No difficulty. No tinder boxes. No insanity meter. You aren’t in any real danger until halfway through the game. It’s too short. The enemy takes forever to kill you and can easily be out runned. It’s insane to me what they were thinking with this game. Don’t waste your money.
I rarely rate things low but this is an exception and I personally think this game is kinda bad. The game is so pretentious and self indulgent about shoving the story down your throat the whole time that it forgot to be scary.

“This is a machine for pigs, indeed professor we are all the pig”
Great atmospheric horror game, heavy on the atmosphere rather than the gameplay.
Good sequel ties into the first nicely
