Drinkers celebrating England's victory in the semi-finals of the Euros unwittingly asked a suspect in a police inquiry if his suitcase had a body in it hours before human remains were discovered inside. Giles Malone and his wife were stood outside a pub when they saw a man getting out of a taxi lifting suitcases with difficulty on Wednesday night in Clifton village, Bristol. The pair were waiting for a taxi having watched the Three Lions beat the Netherlands to secure a place in the final against Spain. 'We sort of semi-joked about it but they did not say anything,' Mr Malone said. 'Another lady started to help them and she said: "These are the heaviest suitcases I have ever lifted. What is in them? Bodies?"'
