1. The buttons on top are much too small, This works on a nes controller because it matches the size of the controller.
2. The palm area is far too large, it's as if the mouse was made with someone has really look fingers (nba player?) It's not comfortable at all.
3. In place of the scroll wheel it has a touch sensitive surface, it's a great idea but it's not sensitive as one would like and it feels awkward.
4. The overall ergonomics of the mouse are terrible, this was sacrificed for design, It looks amazing but falls short in useability.
It is comfortable to use, even if it may not look like it would be, because of the sharp edges on the sides of the mouse. You might notice that there is no scroll wheel, I thought that meant that the only way to scroll up/down was to use the d-pad on the side. There’s actually a touch sensor between the two main buttons, in the place where a scroll wheel would typically be. I love that they opted to do this because it allows the mouse to keep its clean aesthetic look. The downside is that the touchpad is not as precise as a scroll wheel, so you may find that you’re scrolling a little too far up or down compared to where you wanted it to stop.
The main buttons (and the d-pad) all feel like buttons on a controller, as opposed to the sharp/rapid click of a mouse button. They are more springy, with a farther key travel and less responsive, which is fine for general purpose use. The buttons are relatively silent, so this would be great for office work or WFH. I found it to be comfortable too, even after using it for 4-6 hours straight.
don’t think this is a good mouse for PC gaming though, as the DPI only goes up to 1000 (and the switches are not quick like a gaming mouse). I mean, this is not advertised as a gaming mouse, but it is inspired by older controllers, so I’m just stating it clearly for anyone who might think this is for PC gaming. It is not designed for that and does not have the proper sensor or switches to be used for playing FPS or esports titles where reaction time is critical.
The mouse only works via the 2.4GHz adapter, there is no Bluetooth or USB wired connectivity. It does not even have a USB port because it uses a single AA battery for power, instead of a rechargeable one.
Everything in the mouse works well. The buttons click nicely, the invisible middle area between the buttons for scrolling is a nice touch. The four direction buttons (forward/back and for scrolling) is surprisingly effective. It starts working after you connect the receiver and then turn on the mouse (requires a AA battery).
The mouse is pretty big and so I have some trouble reaching and pushing the buttons with a normal grip. They are small buttons and the fingers have to be all over the hump to press the button. I wish there were invisible press areas like the scroll area. So, this might limit the utility to a novelty mouse for me rather than something to get work done mouse but people with bigger hands might not find it a problem.
The DPI is fixed at 1000 and might feel choppy but good for desktop work.
Overall, gorgeous mouse but for me ergonomic enough to be a day to day mouse.

It feels larger and bulkier than other similar devices, which I switched back to after trying this mouse for a short time.
It might be good for someone with large hands (maybe someone 6-foot tall or larger) or as a conversation piece when included in an NES collection of merchandise.
