I commented before, but it didn't post it here due to weird reasons.

Anyways, I loooooooved this game. The wudu minigame, as well as the little tidbits of familial bonds in that dialogue exchange at the end. It was so beautiful and spoke a lot to me. Jazakillah for this <3 May Allah bless our parents and loved ones, Aameen.

.

Minor Spoilers:
(i didn't understand, who were 'They' in the blue font in the choices at the end? I may have missed what that referred to >_<)

I just lost my grandma after her health has been declining for a while. I discovered this game just before but didn't play it until after she passed. The timing is strange. It felt like I was reliving the same day but in real life I felt really out of it so playing was cathartic. Thank you for making this.

What a beautiful but sad piece. I especially love the decorations around it.
I was meticulously groomed, put on the hijab, and prayed before leaving the house, which may be the norm for Muslims, but for me, it was a very new experience.
The sense of experiencing life in another culture that I feel when I play this piece is outstanding, and I really liked that.
MEOW.

Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your playthroughs, I really enjoy them!

so so so gorgeous

This game does a lot with its small wordcount. Love the minigame/interactive aspects and how they're used, especially the part where you clean yourself before the funeral. The art is gorgeous, too. Though the conversation at the end, with the estranged sister (?), is what really gets me. The complexities of family captured in a short back-and-forth. I'm not familiar with the protagonist's culture, but death and family, and the unresolved questions that come with them, are universal. A very intricately made game.

Thank you so much!

Amazing short game with a touching story, beautiful graphics and superb sound design that hits on the right moments, The bathroom scene was a really nice experience; I can see that this game was made with a lot of love and care and I tried to play it accordingly and learned a lot of words and other things in the process.

Thank you for making the game and Keep up the good work!

I really appreciated that you approached the game with an open mind and tried to learn the cultural references. Thank you so much for the playthrough!

The only problem about this game is i didn't understand like half the words in the game, maybe I'm just stupid

(+1)

im not very good with words, but i played this game and, for some reason, immediately started crying at the first dialogues. from graphics to storytelling, this was a beautiful play all the way through! thank you so much for sharing this game, and more than that, i look forward to anything you make in the future :)

Alhamdulillah, you've finally made something great

such a beautiful story

mashallah this is beautiful

alhamdullilah i'm glad it reached you.

Nice to be reminded now and then that Rpg Maker truly is such a special tool for little personal stories like this. Beautifully made!

it's great that the RPGmakers are starting to have web hosting because i think it opens up the possibility of short games made with the engine more easily. easyRPG is personally my favourite for this thanks to all the built in settings and the fact that its performance is better than the modern RPGmakers as far as i've seen. anyways, i'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you.

one question how can i get out of the bathroom mirror (im on laptop so i dont have the f1,f2,f3 and so on

Hi! Press X and follow the sequence of instructions to exit the bathroom sequence. If it's in the correct order, the icons on the left and right should turn orange. The bathroom sequence ends when all the icons are orange. Do let me know if it doesn't work despite this.

thank you so much it worked i was just dumb to realize that it was in order great game btw!

this hit different. i experienced a loss in my high school years, and this was relieving to my soul. beautiful work :)

i'm sorry to hear about your loss. i based this heavily off of losing someone at the tail end of my teens, so I'm glad to hear that it brought some relief. thank you.

ofc! that's what art is made for ^^

this is incredible ;-; the bathroom scene reminds me of the best parts of Florence (Annapurna) — i left the tab open on the final screen for a few minutes just to listen to it

very honoured to have the Florence comparison. thank you so much.
