Would recommend

Bluehost is generally good to deal with and offers good value for money. Because I can't call them as I live in Australia, I use their chat support. I can typically get someone straight away which is great. While it can be tricky to do more complex trouble shooting on your own with text support only, sometimes you get really exceptionally nice people like SAGAR DEEPAK which make it a really enjoyable experience <3

Positive experience, thanks to Ben S at Bluehost

I’ve been using Bluehost for years, seen a lot of changes as the company has evolved. More to the point, as things develop, it can be increasingly more challenging to grow with these changes. Thankfully, with help of Ben S., I am confident that I will continue to use Bluehost for years to come. In addition to being a great salesperson, he is technically knowledgeable and has a way of making the customer feel comfortable. I value and trust him, and appreciate the personal contact and communication with him. Thank you Ben.

Very Satisfied

I was very satisfied with my recent experience. I was able to communicate with an agent right away. The agent was very helpful and quick. It only took a few minutes to resolve my questions. I was impressed with the support agent's knowledge and courteous customer service. I highly recommend Bluehost, they are dedicated, and take very good care of their customers.

Issues with Bluehost domain, resolved

I was having issues with domain propagation for my Bluehost site for weeks and the rep I chatted with online, Prithviraj was friendly and resolved it in a short period of time. Very relieved and appreciated their quick service.

Hang In There, You Will Succeed, It Just Takes Time and Patience

They always have customer support available, but not all support is equal. Some is better than others. But if you hang on and keep working with lots of patience you will succeed.

My experience was transferring my domain from Site Skins to Bluehost. A difficult task, at least for me, with lots of security issues. I stuck with it and after a dozen or more attempts and steps my website is out there for the world to see. I am the webmaster for the local American Society for Nondestructive Testing, Schenectady, NY section. The previous website I had with Site Skins was shut down without notification, so I needed a new one for our members. Bluehost was a good choice. My new website is operational, and Bluehost customer support is always available. It took me about a month to succeed. So, I say thank Bluehost.

I was transferring a domain from another provider and needed some help. BlueHost help chat was great every time I needed some clarification or help getting it done. They were always polite and seemed to understand my problem better than I did, which was good. Thanks BlueHost team.

Consider your other options before Bluehost

It's either hit or miss for me with who I get for technical support. Most times there are long lags in correspondence, and they choose the laziest way to do things, and never read what I explain - and it feels as if the rep is annoyed. Then I get fantastic ones who help as much as they can.

Their claim of protecting your account and all that is a waste - I keep getting SPAM from myself, even though I pay for extra security.

It's all in who takes your call. Today service was excellent and exceeded all expectations. The tech walked me through 4 menus deep which were not intuitive to me at all. Problem fixed! Kudos

Very Happy with Support

The tech who assisted me was responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It took a little while to find what was causing the issue. The tech persevered, kept me updated, and solved the problem. His attitude and communication skills, kept me calm and happy.

I am happy with your services

I am happy with your services, but I don't like that I cannot become an affiliate by reason of my region. The crowd shouldn't be punished because of a few bad eggs. I have referred a lot of people to Bluehost, and it's so sad that I can't affiliate my business with you. It will be a welcome improvement if my region is reconsidered.

I never write reviews, but Blue Host genuinely has the best and fastest customer service I’ve probably ever experienced. They will help you with anything, even if you just need advice or guidance in setting something up. They even helped me set up my Google workspace, because Google doesn’t have customer service. The guidance and support that I’ve gotten from Blue Host customer service makes the whole platform worth its price. I’ll admit, I have had a few representatives who were impatient and did not listen to or understand what I needed help with, but overall the support has been tremendous and very much worth it.

Exceptional Support and Seamless Renewal Experience with Bluehost

I recently had an outstanding customer service experience with Bluehost that I must share! Unbeknownst to me, my domain name and website hosting had expired two months ago, putting my website and professional email data at risk of being permanently deleted. Thankfully, Mina from Bluehost's support team was there to help.

Mina was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable from the start. She assured me my data was still retrievable, which was a considerable relief. She walked me through the entire process of restoring my website and email details with patience and expertise. She explained each step clearly and provided me with three different dates to choose from for when my data could be restored, ensuring that the timeline worked best for my needs.

Mina informed me that the restoration process would take 24 to 72 hours, but her thoroughness and reassurance made the wait manageable. This level of customer service is precisely why I am glad to have chosen Bluehost for my hosting needs. If you’re searching for a reliable web hosting provider that truly cares about its customers, Bluehost is undoubtedly the way to go.

I keep getting poor, and inconsistent information…

I keep getting inconsistent information each time I call for help. My site was taken down because the first assistant gave me poor information on renewal. Then, another customer rep told me the XML file was all I needed to rebuild the site. A fourth rep helped upload the file, and stated "your site will be up in 2 days" but nothing happened. The last customer rep told me the XML file cannot be used, but I need an HTML file. I wish someone knew what was going on.

The absolute worst customer service

Seriously, some of the worst customer service we have ever received. Back and forth with one of their reps trying to get our site back up and live and it was clear that they weren't reading my messages properly even when I asked the same exact question multiple times. Kept telling me they were looking into the issue but weren't even doing the basic troubleshooting required and then they said they closed the ticket before the problem was resolved. I tried to open another one and they closed that pretty much straight away too. Terrible, terrible, terrible. So pleased we're moving away from them next month when our contract comes up for renewal.

Affordable, excellent customer service

Affordable prices, excellent customer serivce. A service rep even reached out to touch base with me and was very helpful and knowledgable. He even went out of his way to help me set up my email. He didn't have to that. That extra touch of care is highly appreciated.

Being charged on my credit card on a…

Being charged on my credit card on a website (artpeepsandcreatives.com) I tried to get going & got totally confused & never got it completed. I cancelled 9/28/2022…yet my credit card was charged recently in 2024. I also was charged over $300 back for other services, then after I reported I cancelled the website (that was charged $) I didn’t feel like I would get a refund! But I am thankful for Bluehost helping me, a senior citizen, to end the hosting charges!

I signed up to try a blog thinking it…

I signed up to try a blog thinking it was a minimal amount and I would blog about my vacation. I looked at my credit card and was billed hundreds of dollars. They automatically renewed at the higher price and double billed me. When I called to complain as I had never even started a blog, they admitted the double booking but their policy only allowed a partial refund. Get very clear what your charges will be after the introductory price because it's a bait and switch.

Don't be fooled, don't make a choice you will regret

It's now 37 days still waiting for Escalations team to sort out my account verification and having proof of payment sent to my email. It takes this long because stuff is incompetent, they lie, they blame customers for issues that arise when using the service. It amazes me why Bluehost has an average of 4,1 on Google maps they have 1,8 rate. scours of people complaining over similar things. Facebook reviews disabled too. Don't purchase anything with these lawless people. Take your money elsewhere save yourself the inconveniences.
