📱 eSIM Growth on the Rise In 2023, eSIM-capable device shipments reached 534 million, a 9% increase from 2022, with smartphones making up 303 million of these units. Growth is also strong in IoT devices, connected cars, and consumer electronics. By 2028, we predict that eSIM-compatible devices are expected to hit 2.5 billion, driven by widespread adoption across industries. Apple leads the way, but other brands like Samsung are quickly catching up, with eSIM-only devices projected to become a significant market segment.
