How to Unlock Your Own Palia Glider

This guide will show you how to get a Glider in Palia, including the related quest and the materials you'll need to complete it.

When starting out in Palia, you do not have access to the glider. To unlock it, you must first progress through each Main Quest you are given (these are all grouped together in the Quest tab) until you unlock "Ancient Battery" which is the precursor to your first temple quest, Echoes of the Unknown (Temple of the Waves.)

How to to Unlock the Glider Quest

Once you unlock the quest "Ancient Battery" head to the ruins behind the waterfall, near where the game started. After opening the door and entering, you'll come to a large room with a bowl on it.

To complete the riddle - simply water the bowl until the door opens!

Jina and Hekla will enter the large room shortly, and after talking with her - she'll send you to Bahari Bay to see Najuma for the "Like a Bird" Quest. This will also unlock the Echoes of the Unknown Quest and your first temple, the Temple of the Waves.

• Note: You're going to want Sapwood Planks x3, Fabric x2, and Leather x5 to proceed with this quest!!

Complete "Like a Bird" To Get The Glider in Palia

You can get to Bahari Bay one of two ways:

• Using the Fast Travel Points at Stables
• Crossing into the Zone from the North side of your Home, or the East Side of Kalima.

Find Najuma in the SouthWest side of Bahari Bay, usually tinkering in the shed near the mines. With the "Like a Bird" Quest active, you can ask her to make you a glider, and she'll ask for some materials to craft it.

Here's how to collect each one: Sapwood Planks, Fabric, and Leather.

Collect Sapwood Planks

Sapwood can be obtained by cutting down trees on your housing plot or in Kilima Village. From there, you can turn them into planks via Sawmills, and you've completed the quest to buy the Basic Sawmill after reaching Foraging Level 2. You'll need 3 in total. for the Glider

Collect Fabric

There are 2 main ways to get Fabric:

• The first would be to plant Cotton in your garden, and then turning that into Fabric via a Fabric Loom crafter (you can buy this from Tish after reaching Furnishing Level 2).
• The quicker method is to buy it directly from Tish's furniture shop for 190 Gold each. You'll need 2 in total.

Collect Leather

Leather is a similar process.

• First, you can hunt Sernuk out in Kilima Village or Bahari Bay, then turn their hide into Leather via the Fabric Loom.
• You can also just buy it via Tish's furniture shop for 60 Gold each. You'll need 5 in total.

Take Back the Materials and Use the Glider

With all the materials in hand, you can head back to Najuma and she'll give you the glider in return.

It can be activated by using the jump button again while in the air, and you'll slowly drift downward - letting you traverse the world of Palia much easier!

Now that you have your glider, you can also complete the Temple of the Waves!
