FAQ
Q: "Can I use this mod in my modpack?"
A: Yes, as long as you credit the original owner of the mod (me)
Q: "Can this mod be used in an existing world\save?"
A: It should, but back up your save file before enabling the mod just in case. No guarantees here.

Special Thanks:
  • MrBounty for a bunch of useful information on building a UI and help with the code
  • Wipe for creating compatibility between this mod and the "Extra Map Symbols UI" mod

When using a controller, the LT, RT, and X button prompts on the top left and bottom left of the screen overlap with your mod's widgets.

A big thumbs up to the mod creator. Dunno why it isn't a vanilla resource.

Hi. The mod includes a button that can toggle the display of the map legend to show\hide it. For the annotations and such - that is not covered by that mod, so you should have better luck contacting the creator of the mod who generated those annotated map notes.
Enemal Jul 1 @ 4:31am
@NikGamer - suggestion: make the annotated map list collapseable. My list got long and covers a big area of the map. Would it be possible?

Okay, my mistake, I just learned something new: when I continue a saved game, it doesn't mean that the mods I've enabled in the main menu will carry over. I need to Load my previous save and then select More... to adjust my mods.
Volknochi Jun 26 @ 9:29am
Hm, that's weird. The UI, nor its bespoke button, is showing up on the map. I know it's enabled in the Mods menu, but I cannot figure out why my map is not showing the good stuff.

Yeah, I'm using Share Annotations too. Is unfortunately to hear that. Hope to get a fix sometime., but don't worry, and thanks for you reply!

@Cuyi
The only thing in the code that changes the legend window location is whether or not the Share Annotations mod is installed, other than that nothing should be influencing the window's position. As a temporary fix you can try turning off the legend window for when you don't need it if it obscures other parts of the map interface you might have on screen.

Making the legend window freely movable is part of the roadmap but unfortunately I don't have an approximate timeframe for when you can expect this feature to be released.

Randomly the legend window appears topside, and other times, botside.
Any chance to fix it or add the possibility to move it freely or select your favorite corner?

Thanks

Great QoL mod, recommending it. Works in MP.
