Spiders can jump me 10/10

A MS xbox account is needed. This extra authentication only tends to break multiplayer. Why should I have 2 accounts to play a game?

How should I start .... I'll start with the good things:
Exploring the world doesn't get boring, as the game offers a fairly large open world with lots of different locations. I also like the idea that the story takes place in the main protagonist's garden and thus presents the insect world as an "enemy". Is there anything else positive? No.

I played this game for 60 hours with my friends and really realized after 15 hours of play how many problems this game has. Nevertheless, we wanted to play it through. The story is indeed very big, but with every game night we left the game more and more depressed.

Enemy Difficulty:
The scaling between the strength of your weapons and the strength of the enemies is COMPLETELY unbalanced. Monsters are spawned 12837198073019 times and you have to fight for 10 years before you can rest.
But with every battle, your equipment gets broken so quickly that you have to repair it again. HOW DO YOU REPAIR IT? RIGHT, BY SLAYING VERY STRONG MONSTERS. So it's a vicious circle. We play the game on "Normal" btw. and are not gaming noobs. Even all the Soulslike games in the world don't have such bad scaling and monster spawning.

Grinding:
You have to grind and upgrade a lot to really do well against enemies on this level which is not fun at all in this game.

Combat system:
It's basic but okey i guess. One button to punch, the other to block. The blow can be charged. There are parries that only work with useful talismans. There are also ranged weapons, heal items and also elemental damage as normal weapons or staffs.

Building:
Building is the most pointless thing in this game. Your house doesn't really do you any good. You can also sleep in the open, which I really miss in an open world game.

Please REALLY don't make the same mistake we did. This game is very nice on the outside but the more you go in the more you experience hell and a pure waste of time.
There are many better alternatives.

Story:
The 4 kids are really annoying and not relatable the story is not exciting but ok.

PS: I've never written a bad review before but felt compelled to do so for this game as it has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam
